Data protection compliance is increasingly important for companies – in particular due to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, in force since 25 May 2018.
Our team under Marija Križanac and Ferdinand Graf advises and supports clients in all matters of data protection law, such as implementing measures that require the processing of personal data (e.g. whistleblowing hotlines), handling requests from data subjects (e.g. requests for information), handling a data incident/breach, drafting internal data protection policies and, most recently, implementing in house the GDPR for various clients.
In addition to her work as a legal advisor, Marija Križanac also authors numerous specialist publications on data protection, some of them co-authored by Ferdinand Graf.
Ferdinand Graf is a member of the Data Protection Working Group of the Austrian Bar Association, which helps attorneys implement data protection regulations. Marija Križanac holds international certifications in the field of data protection (CIPP/E, CIPM) and is co-author of a widely-used commentary on data protection law (Der DaKomm). She is a member of the data protection expert group of the Jö Bonus Club.
