Armenak Utudjian was elected as the new Vice-President of the Austrian Bar Association (ÖRAK) at the Assembly of Representatives on 24 September 2011.
The ÖRAK is the umbrella association of the Austrian Bar Associations. Armenak Utudjian will care for economic questions of attorneys, in the team of the newly selected president Rupert Wolff. The ÖRAK represents the interests of approximately 5,600 attorneys and approximately 1,900 associates in Austria.
Armenak Utudjian has been a committed representative of the Bar Association and the ÖRAK in Vienna for many years. Amongst other things, he is the chairman of the ÖRAK Working Group for Economic Issues, the chairman of the Working Group Health Insurance of the federal committee for freelancers and a member of the attorney committee of the Chamber in Vienna. “For me, this task is an exciting and responsible challenge, with the goal of providing a reliable, economic environment for the colleagues of our profession”, said Armenak Utudjian.
